Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc. provides child care and early education, as well as other services designed to help employers and families better address the challenges of work and life. The company provides services primarily under multi-year contracts with employers who offer child care and other dependent care solutions as part of their employee benefits packages to improve employee engagement, productivity, recruitment and retention. It operates through the following segments: Full Service Center Based Child Care Services, Back-up Dependent Care Services and Other Educational Advisory Services. The Full Service Center Based Child Care Services segment includes child care and early education, preschool and elementary education. The Back-up Dependent Care Services segment includes center-based back-up child care, in-home well child care, in home mildly ill child care and in home adult/elder care. The Other Educational Advisory Services segment includes its college preparation and admissions counseling services, as well as tuition reimbursement management and educational counseling services. Bright Horizons Family Solutions was founded by Roger H. Brown and Linda A. Mason on July 24, 1998 and is headquartered in Watertown, MA.
