It operates its business through two segments: Bruker Scientific Instruments and Bruker Energy and Supercon Technologies. The Bruker Scientific Instruments are organized into three operating segments: the Bruker BioSpin Group, the Bruker CALID Group and the Bruker Nano Group. Bruker was founded by Günther Laukien and Emil Bruker in 1960 and is headquartered in Billerica, MA.
