MYR Group operates its business through two segments: Transmission & Distribution and Commercial & Industrial. The Transmission & Distribution segment provides services on electric transmission & distribution networks and substation facilities. This segment also offers construction and maintenance of high voltage transmission lines, substations and lower voltage underground and overhead distribution systems; and storm restoration services. The Commercial & Industrial segment provides electrical contracting services. This segment also provides services, such as the design, installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial wiring; and installation of traffic networks, bridges, roadway and tunnel lighting. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Rolling Meadows, IL.
