The company operates through two segments: Industrial and Water Treatment. Its principal products are acids, alkalis and industrial and food-grade salts. The Water Treatment segment specializes in providing chemicals, equipment and solutions for potable water, municipal and industrial wastewater, industrial process water and non-residential swimming pool water. Hawkins was founded by Howard. Hawkins in 1938 and is headquartered in Roseville, MN.
